The beginning of any thing we do in life is very important. As a matter of fact, beginning has a way of affecting your future positively or negatively. For example, the beginning of building a house is laying the foundation, now lets also take cognizance of the fact that there are difference types of building, if you raise a three story building on a one story foundation, that building will surely collapse in future time.
How you begin your new year, matters a lot, do not begin this New Year lackadaisically, because how well you will do this year may depend it. The following principles can help you start well:
1. Appreciation: Give thanks to God, for keeping and letting you come into the New Year. People died by your side, I mean people you started 2011 with, died even in your hands, before your eyes, some died in auto crash, plane crash, naturals disaster, sickness, some slept and never woke up again. A lot of things happened to you and around you but you are still alive. You really need to appreciate God. Secondly. There are people who helped you achieve something (s) last year, it will also be wise to call them, send text massage or meet them one on one and appreciate them for helping you count success in 2011.
2. Stock taking: Sit down and analyze yourself, your business and your academic, your relationship with people, your attitude, your marriage and your job. You will discover that there are areas you made success and there are also areas you failed, thank God for those areas you made success and say bravo to yourself for taking bold step that led you to success. Now, those areas you failed, do not cast blame on anybody, take blame for your failure and kill it right there. Do not carry it over into the New Year. What you need at this point is to think of fresh ideas on how to achieve those things you could not achieve last year, one new idea in your business can change it for the best. Just think.
3. Write down the thing you want to achieve in 2012 in the order of your scale of preference, draw a plan of how you are going to achieve them. If you have projects you started last year you did not finish, do not abandon them rather continue from were you stopped and keep doing it until you finish it.
4. Pray to God for help and grace to achieve your goals.
NB: It does not matter how big or small you started, but how well.
With this you can be sure you have started your 2012 very well and you will surely end it well.

THE BURNING HUT
The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed fervently for GOD to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements, and to store his few possessions. One day after scavenging for food ...he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, with smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened, and everything was lost. He was stunned with disbelief, grief, and anger. "GOD, how could you do this to me?" he cried. Early the next day he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. "How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man of his rescuers. "We saw your smoke signal," they replied.
LESSON: It's easy to get discouraged when things are going bad, but we shouldn't lose heart, because GOD is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain, and suffering. God is sovereign and nothing takes Him by surprise. There is nothing you pass through that He cannot handle. CAREER ADVICE
1. Think Like The Business Owner
You want to impress your boss? The easiest way is to think like the business owner. Whenever things are not approved or does not work in a certain way in the company, there are usually good reasons for it. It’s just that you do not know them. Do not pass any judgment. Think like the business owner. If you are the business owner and the money is yours would you do this? Would you make that decision? When you think like the business owner, your loyalty remains with the company.
2. Get Up And Get Going
Wake up in the morning and get going. There is no need to laze or delay. Sure you are human and I am not talking about the hard discipline of being a soldier and be in line when the instructions are called out. Still, you need to know what gets you out of bed in the morning when it is difficult. That’s what motivates you. What motivates you? Do you know?
3. Do The Right Things
Oh, the huge debate on doing things right and doing the right things. Don’t get into such arguments. It’s useless. What’s useful though is being able to practice them and use them to your advantage. Do the right thing when the time calls for it. Be guided by your moral compass, if you feel your ethical standards are suspect, well, put them in check. The higher you climb the more these standards will be called into action.
4. Do Things Right
Each and every system is in place so that there is a smooth flow of work. It ensures productivity, it ensures efficiency. Do it right. It means look into the details that goes in and out of the system. Someone needs to attend to the details. Because details are tedious, lazy people forgo such tasks. If you want to stand out, start doing this.
5. Stay On Track
Stay focused on what you want out of your career and do it well today. What matters is today. Not yesterday, that’s gone and no one bothers. Not tomorrow, because that’s too far away. You will be judged for the work done today. Do well on what needs to be done today and tomorrow will sort itself out. Yesterday, that’s too late to fix. Stay on track.
6. Don’t Worry About 5 Years From Now
Does it mean you do not plan? No, it doesn’t mean that. Don’t let plans that are too far away bother you. Again, what matters is doing well what matters now. YOU CAN GO UP
Life is full of ups and downs. they say, i believe that but the fact is that there are too many people in the downs of life than there are in the ups.
It takes working hard for you to be in the ups of life. you must distinguish yourself before people can look up to you, and people look up to you only when you are up, we are all ordinary but you can do extra ordinary thing to become extra ordinary man. Your background does not matter here, nothing can limit if you don't limit yourself.
There is no limit to how up you can get to if you stand up today. You can become the eyes with which your family and community will see the good things of life.
What you need to do now is to leave your comfort zone, take a step out of where you are now, take a decision never to look back until you see yourself on the top where people can look up to you. Whatever you can very well, you can get to the top with, just put your strength, might and soul to it. get counsel from experts, work to make connections, be focus and always pray. definitely!!!!!! you will see yourself among the few people in the ups of life.

THINK FUTURE
One of the reasons why most people do not make success in
Life is that; they are desperate to be rich. They want to
Make money fast and by all means, get rich quick without
passing through
due processes of becoming rich. they want it now,
and that is why they do not last in one business. They can go
into 20 businesses and come out of them all in 1year without a
positive result.
I have red through the stories of many rich and successful people,
none of them became rich overnight, i discovered that they made
plans that lasted for years, some even failed after 5 and 10 years
in just one goal but did not give up or quit until they achieved
their goal. They passed through hell but they were not desperate.
Champions think future, so if you really want your name to be heard
aloud, you must have long term goal. A goal you are expecting to achieve
in 5, 10, 15 or more years time. Make sure you write it down clearly, plan well
for it, always say it out with your mouth, let it show in behavior, talk about it with confidence. Note this; everybody will not believe in you but you must believe in yourself. If someone did it you too can do it, if it has never been done, you can be the first to do it.

Success is not about doing things well or even very well, or being acknowledged by others. It is not an external opinion, but rather an internal status. It is the harmony between the soul and your emotions, which requires love, family, friendship, authenticity and integrity.
To be as exceptional as you are is a privilege, but it also entails many risks that can have an impact on values that are much more important than professional, economic, social or political “success”. Emotional strength and stability are in the interior life, and in avoiding emotions that erode the soul such as envy, jealousy, arrogance, lust, selfishness, vengeance, greed and laziness, which are a poison that is ingested little by little.
When you give, do not expect to receive. “Fragrance clings to the hand that gives the rose,” says a Chinese proverb. Do not allow negative feelings and emotions to control your mind. Emotional harm does not come from others; it is conceived and developed within ourselves.
Do not mix up your values or betray your principles. Life’s road is very long, but it is traveled fast. Live the present intensely and fully, do not let the past be a burden, and let the future be an incentive. Each person forges his or her own destiny and it may influence reality. Do not ignore it.
Live with positive feelings and emotions such as love, friendship, loyalty, courage, joy, good humor, enthusiasm, peace, serenity, patience, trust, tolerance, prudence and responsibility. Do not allow their opposites to invade your soul, may they pass quickly from your mind, do not allow them to stay there, banish them. What is most valuable in life does not cost anything but is very precious: love, friendship, nature and what man has been able to achieve with it; the forms, colors, sounds, smells that we perceive with our senses can only be appreciated when we are emotionally awake.
Live without fear and guilt; fear is the worst feeling men can have, it weakens them, inhibits action and depresses them. Guilt is a tremendous burden in our lives, the way we think and act. Guilt and fear make the present difficult and obstruct the future. To fight them, let us have good sense and accept ourselves as we are, with our realities, our merits and our sorrows.
Staying occupied displaces preoccupation and problems, and when we face our problems, they disappear. Thus, they make us stronger every day. We should learn from failure, and successes should be silent incentives. Act always as your conscience dictates, because it never lies. Fear and guilt will then be minimal. Do not block yourself in, do not ruin your life, live it with intelligence, with soul and senses aware and on the alert; get to know their manifestations and train yourselves to appreciate and enjoy life.
Work well done is not only a responsibility to yourselves and society; it is also an emotional need.
At the end we depart with nothing, we leave behind only our work, family and friends, and, perhaps, a positive influence which we have planted.
To be as exceptional as you are is a privilege, but it also entails many risks that can have an impact on values that are much more important than professional, economic, social or political “success”. Emotional strength and stability are in the interior life, and in avoiding emotions that erode the soul such as envy, jealousy, arrogance, lust, selfishness, vengeance, greed and laziness, which are a poison that is ingested little by little.
When you give, do not expect to receive. “Fragrance clings to the hand that gives the rose,” says a Chinese proverb. Do not allow negative feelings and emotions to control your mind. Emotional harm does not come from others; it is conceived and developed within ourselves.
Do not mix up your values or betray your principles. Life’s road is very long, but it is traveled fast. Live the present intensely and fully, do not let the past be a burden, and let the future be an incentive. Each person forges his or her own destiny and it may influence reality. Do not ignore it.
Live with positive feelings and emotions such as love, friendship, loyalty, courage, joy, good humor, enthusiasm, peace, serenity, patience, trust, tolerance, prudence and responsibility. Do not allow their opposites to invade your soul, may they pass quickly from your mind, do not allow them to stay there, banish them. You will make mistakes many times, it is normal and human; but try to make them small, then accept, correct and forget them. Do not be obsessed by them; heaven and hell are within us. What is most valuable in life does not cost anything but is very precious: love, friendship, nature and what man has been able to achieve with it; the forms, colors, sounds, smells that we perceive with our senses can only be appreciated when we are emotionally awake.
Live without fear and guilt; fear is the worst feeling men can have, it weakens them, inhibits action and depresses them. Guilt is a tremendous burden in our lives, the way we think and act. Guilt and fear make the present difficult and obstruct the future. To fight them, let us have good sense and accept ourselves as we are, with our realities, our merits and our sorrows.
Staying occupied displaces preoccupation and problems, and when we face our problems, they disappear. Thus, they make us stronger every day. PREPARED, PLANTED, PLACED, PRUNED AND PROSPERED.
Before God put Adam in the garden, he formed him.
There is a purpose of preparation God takes us through in
order to make what we need to be. God must deal with our
inconsistencies, personality, area of distrust, unresolved
childhood issues, scars flaw etc.
How long does it take? Only God knows.
Admit it even at your age don’t you still recognize some
childish ways in your life? Anybody would have given up on
you, but God has plans and he is committed to it.
We should all wear a sign that says: “work in progress”.
Come what may in life, be mindful of: work in progress.
You must pass through processes before becoming finished goods.
The Bible says the lord “formed man out of the dust of the
ground” (Gen 2:7) what’s God working with? “Dirt” And the
tools he uses to form you are the experiences you go through
in life. They shape and alter you. And the more you try it your
own way, the longer the process takes. It may take you five
years to quit people-pleasing or ten years to stop feeling sorry
for yourself, or twenty years to stop reliving your childhood.
All the while God is telling you “stop it” and you are saying
“yeah I will be better” then finally a crisis happens and the
truth hits you. At that point you say “you know what? I’m going
to forget those things which are behind and start reaching for
things which are before.

USING YOUR BEGINNING TO CREATE GREAT FUTURE
The beginning of any thing we do in life is very important. As a matter of fact, beginning, has a way of affecting your future positively or negatively. For example, the beginning of building a house is laying the foundation, now lets also take cognizance of the fact that there are difference types of building, if you raise a three story building on a one story foundation, that building will surely collapse in future time.
How you begin your new year, matters a lot, do not begin this new year lackadaisically, because how well you will do this year may depend it. The following principles can help you start well:
1. Appreciation: Give thanks to God, for keeping and letting you come into the New Year. People died by your side, I mean people you started 2010 with, died even in your hands, before your eyes, some died in auto crash, plane crash, naturals disaster, sickness, some slept and never woke up again. A lot of things happened to you and around you but you are still alive. You really need to appreciate God. Secondly. There are people who helped you achieve something (s) last year, it will also be wise to call them, send text massage or meet them one on one and appreciate them for helping you count success in 2010.
2. Stock taking: Sit down and analyze yourself, your business and your academic, your relationship with people, your attitude, your marriage and your job. You will discover that there are areas you made success and there are also areas you failed, thank God for those areas you made success and say bravo to yourself for taking bold step that led you to success. Now, those areas you failed, do not cast blame on anybody, take blame for your failure and kill it right there. Do not carry it over into the New Year. What you need at this point is to think of fresh ideas on how to achieve those things you could not achieve last year, one new idea in your business can change it for the best. Just think.
3. Write down the thing you want to achieve in 2011 in the order of your scale of preference, draw a plan of how you are going to achieve them. If you have projects you started last year you did not finish, do not abandon them rather continue from were you stopped and keep doing it until you finish it.
4. Pray to God for help and grace to achieve your goals.
With this you can be sure you have started your 2011 very well and you will surely end it well.

MR ROSE IN HELL
There was a woman called Mrs. Rose in a small town called "Enyi" in this small town, there is a church, and Mrs. Rose happened to the richest person in that church and also the eyes with which they see, Mrs. Rose will always give to the poor in the public, gives huge amount of money in the church for Gods work and in the community for development, and people will praise her.
One day, Mrs. Rose died; in fact it was like the day of Docas of the Bible, after Mrs. Rose was buried, a young man dreamt where he died, and in his dream, an angel took him into a very beautiful place, in that place, he saw many people rejoicing but he did not see Mrs. Rose, he became so worried that he told the angel " there is a woman I am looking for" and the angel asked him the name of the woman, he said Mrs. Rose, the angel took him to a large and beautiful seating room, and brought out a big book, they started searching for the name "Mrs. Rose" but from the beginning of the big book to its end, Mrs. Rose were not found, the angel took him to a very handsome man, seated in a golden throne in a glittering palace, and he complained to the man who dressed like a king.
The man gave them another big book, almost at the end of their search, at the last page of the book, behold the name "Mrs. Rose", and the young man jumped in happiness and said to the angel "I told you she is here", but in disappointment, the angel told him that the people whose name are in this book are the people who are in the place of teeth gnashing, immediately the young man cried with a loud voice and said noooo she can not be there, She was a very good woman, she gave to the work of God, provided for the needy, donated money to the community, how can she do all this things and be there. He pleaded until the angel started pleading to the king on his behalf and after a while, the king decided to give Mrs Rose a second chance and ordered the angel to go get Mrs. Rose out of the pit. The angel took a very long rope and went to the pit with the young man, when they got there, the angel laid the rope down into the dip pit and called with a loud voice "Rose", a faint voice answered and said "I am here sir" the angel told her " this rope is for you. Hold on to it and climb up so that you can get out of the pit, she was glad to have that opportunity, and without hesitation she held the rope and started climbing with joy.
Mrs. Rose climbed and climbed until she was about two fit out of the pit, she now looked down and saw that other people are also climbing up with her, she said to them "why are you climbing up with me? This rope is for me alone, all of you must go down known" she started kicking them on the head saying "go down, go down, go down, go down" in the process of kicking other people, she loosed her grip to the rope and fell back into the deep pit shouting NOOOOOOooooooo. The angel gradually pulled up the rope in disappointment, and the young man cried in agony, the king came and with a gentle voice he said to them, "This is what Mrs. Rose was doing when she was alive on earth, she only gave in the public so that people will see her as a rich woman and praise her, she provided for the needy to attract love and respect for her self, she did not do all that in righteousness. She was an obstacle to other people's progress, she wanted only herself to be seen, she never allowed other people to come up and that is why she is in that pit, even when she has been given a second chance, she could not still repent. She has exhausted her chances of repentance. The young man cried and cried until he woke up from his dream.
We must be careful the way we live our lives, because after mans marking scheme, God has his own marking scheme and if he does not mark us right, we have failed. He has a purpose for bringing us into this world and I believe that it is to make the world a better place for humanity by promoting love, peace, unity and living a God fearing life. If we do not live to achieve this four factors, it means that we are a disappointment to our generation and to God our creator. We are the people to make the world a better place and the time is now, so let's work harder with sincerity, we are not far from Mr. Victory
